As much as I love the warm weather, I was glad to start seeing the first signs of Fall this past weekend. It’s finally cute sweater and bootie weather! Joe and I took full advantage of the beautiful weather and spent a lot of time outside walking in parks while also being able to check out some new places on my NYC bucket list.
We went to Pizza Beach for dinner on Friday night and split a Pink Vodka pizza and Taco pizza. Luckily the pizzas were small since we were unable to pick only one and had to order two. Everything looked amazing on the menu we just couldn’t decide.
On Saturday we picked up some hot matcha drinks from Cha Cha Matcha to help warm us up as we walked around Madison Square Park, window shopped down 5th avenue, and enjoyed the outdoor farmers market in Union Square Park. Once we worked up an appetite we headed to The Ainsworth for dinner where we split chips and guacamole, fried mac & cheese sticks and buffalo wings. Yum!
Sunday was a little warmer and not a cloud in the sky. We decided to pick up some breakfast sandwiches and head to Central Park for the day. It was such a beautiful day we started to explore and find new areas of the park that neither of us have been to before. It’s amazing how you can always find new areas to explore no matter how often you visit Central Park. I love it! Then we went to The Doughnut Project to pick up some delicious glazed doughnuts to help beat our Sunday scaries.
I’m glad I was able to take advantage of the beautiful Fall weather this past weekend. Especially before I head to North Carolina next weekend where it’s looking like it will be sunny and in the 80s!
