This Upstage Black Off-the-Shoulder Top from Lulus may look familiar to you if you read Monday’s post. Joe and I took a little road trip on Saturday to Connecticut for apple picking and a visit to my hometown. I haven’t been back since my parents moved to North Carolina 4 years ago. Since Joe’s never been to Ridgefield I figured visiting in mid-October when all of the leaves have changed color is the perfect time to go. Ridgefield is so beautiful in the Fall. It’s probably the prettiest time of year there!
Like I mentioned in my post on Monday the day turned out much hotter than I anticipated. Luckily I brought this super soft suede skirt from Altar’d State with me to change into. Paired with my off-the-shoulder top and booties, I had myself another cute Fall outfit! One that’s better suited for this crazy warm Fall weather we have been having up North.
While in Ridgefield I drove Joe all over showing him where I went to school, where I used to live and we took a nice stroll down Main Street that led to the park. It couldn’t have been a better time of year to take a trip down memory lane while showing Joe where I grew up. Ridgefield is such a beautiful town and I am glad I was able to visit this past weekend while we had such nice weather.
