Just like most girly girls, I not only love shopping, shoes, and pumpkin spice lattes, but I also LOVE makeup! Every few months or so my makeup routine seems to change slightly. Since I’m always looking for new makeup to play with, I like to try and mix up my routine every once in a while. Below I have listed out my favorite products that I’m currently using.
Primer:
Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer Mini – This primer allows for a small amount of foundation to blend out easily.
Foundation:
Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in Beige – This foundation is one of my favorite liquid foundations that doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily.
OR
It Cosmetics Confidence in a Compact with SPF 50+ in Medium – This foundation has a cream texture to it which allows for an easy application with the makeup sponge that comes in the compact.
Concealer:
Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer in Porecelin – I LOVE this concealer. I have always had dark circles under my eyes that are pretty tough to cover and keep covered. This concealer really helps mask these dark circles, especially when layered with my Under Eye Brightener (below).
Under Eye Brightener:
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer in Light – Paired with my Bobbi Brown concealer, just a tiny dab blended out under my eyes really helps brighten up my face and under eyes when I’m looking tired.
Setting Powder:
Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder – This is the best setting powder I have tried so far. I use it to help bake my concealer under my eyes as well as a setting powder over my entire face to prevent shiny skin throughout the day.
Eye Liner:
Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Black – I’ve always had an issue with eyeliner smudging and dropping throughout the day. Finally, I stumbled upon this Marc Jacobs eyeliner and I never have to worry about messy eye liner again! It really stays in place during the day.
Mascara:
tarte lights, camera, lashes™ double-ended lash fibers & 4-in-1 mascara – When you really need your eye lashes to POP, this is the mascara for you. First apply a coat of the mascara, then a layer of the fibers that will stick to your eye lashes, and then apply one more layer of the mascara to help keep the fibers in place.
OR
tarte lifted sweatproof mascara – When you want more of a sublet day-to-day look or planning to go straight to the gym from work, this waterproof mascara is perfect. I never have an issue with my lashes clumping. Instead this mascara helps elongate my lashes without leaving clumps of mascara behind. You also never have to worry about that pesky raccoon eye!
Eye Brow:
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Dark Brown – I’ve only recently started filling in my eye brows and I haven’t tried too many products. Knowing Anastasia is known for their eye brow products I just had to give it a try. The verdict is I love it! This product really blends well with your hairs and gives a very natural look that lasts all day.
Eye Shadow Primer:
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion – Original – Makes such a difference applying eye shadow over a primed eyelid. This not only helps the eye shadow last during the day, but it also allows for easy blending.
Eye Shadow:
tarte limited-edition Rainforest of the Sea™ eyeshadow palette vol. II – What can I say, I just love these neutrals!
Highlighter:
tarte skin twinkle lighting palette – With the option of 3 different shades, I can mix up how I would like my highlighter to look each day. I love having options!
Contour:
tarte tarteist ™ PRO glow to go highlight contour palette I’ve tried a few contour kits and this one seems to do the trick. The product applies to the brush with ease and blends out quite nicely.
Blush:
tarte Amazonian clay12-hour blush in Dazzle – I’ve had this blush for months and it’s still going strong. Just a little bit of color goes a very long way while providing me perfectly rosy cheeks.
Bronzer:
KEVYN AUCOIN The Neo-Bronzer in Capri-Cool Pink – This unique palette is a 3-in-1 providing bronzer, blush and highlighter. It’s your one stop shop for when you are short on time.
OR
NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna – This shade/product looks good on many people and has a bit of gold shimmer to it. Perfect for those cold winter days when your tan is long gone.
Brushes:
IT Cosmetics Heavenly Skin™ CC+™ Skin-Perfecting Brush #702 – I love using this brush for blending in my contour. It’s super soft and the hairs are infused with anti aging collagen, silk, peptides, niacin, and antioxidants for an airbrushed finish.
SEPHORA COLLECTION Classic Must Have Angled Blush Brush #50 – This angled brush is great for blush application.
Mikasa E300 – Blending Brush – I like to use this brush for applying my setting powder under my eyes to help let my concealer and under eye brightener set.
Mikasa E220 – Concealer Brush – This brush is great to blend out my concealer as well as my under eye brightener. It’s the perfect size to blend product under my eye while also providing a streak free finish.
Note, use coupon code KELLEYANNE25 to receive 25% off Mikasa products!
As you can see, lately I’ve been really into tarte and Too Faced products. I know most of these are a bit on the pricey side, but I’m constantly buying most of my make up whenever there are sales. I’m also a fan of drug store brands, but I’m currently on the Sephora kick.
I’m always in the market for new products to try or new beauty vloggers to follow. Comment below if you have any to share!
Sincerely,
K
