DRESS: Sorry for the delay in this post. A week ago I got back from a 10 day trip out West to Scottsdale, the Grand Canyon, and LA. Surprisingly enough it took me an entire week to get back on track. It’s pretty crazy how much a 3 hour time change can affect you.
A few Saturday’s ago, my cousin got married at a beautiful country club in Scottsdale, AZ. The weather was absolutely perfect! Sunny and warm with a light breeze. Luckily this Cityscape Navy Blue Off-the-Shoulder Bodycon Dress from Lulu’s was perfect for this outdoor wedding. This dress is not only super cute, but it’s incredibly comfortable. It is a tight fitting dress, but you certainly don’t feel like it’s squeezing you. I also received a ton of compliments on this dress as well as my shoes.
These Harper Gold Ankle Strap Heels are also from Lulus (if you can’t tell by now, it’s one of my favorite clothing websites). The wedding was mostly held outside on grass and there was no outdoor dance floor, but since these shoes have a chunky heel I had no issues walking around. Chunky heels are key if you are attending an outdoor wedding. Last thing you want is to ruin a pair of heels while falling all over the place on grass.
My mom and I also went to Blo Blow Dry Bar to get blowouts before the wedding. This place did a great job! If you are ever in the area I recommend stopping in to get a blow out. The curls they gave me lasted several days and they were done with only a round brush and blow dryer! No curler needed.
