Happy Tuesday! This past Saturday we finally saw a slight dip in the temperature here in Philly. This allowed me to break out a light weight sweater and tall boots.
The sweater I’m wearing is roughly a year old from Julie’s Boutique in North Carolina, but I was able to find a similar one here. My sweater is pretty oversized so I made a knot on one side to make it look more form fitting with my A-line skirt.
I bought this Free People Modern Femme Vegan Leather Mini Skirt (size 4) when I was in North Carolina a few weeks ago. I loved it so much I ended up buying it in Vegan Suede as well (see last week’s post). They are so comfortable and the options are endless for dressing up and dressing down these skirts.
For these pictures I paired this outfit with tall heeled black boots that are a few years old from Nine West, but here and here are similar pairs. Black booties would also be cute with this outfit if you don’t have tall boots.
Where did I end up wearing this outfit you may ask? I wore this outfit out for dinner and drinks in celebration of my best friend’s engagement that happened on Friday night. We ended up meeting at 2nd Story Brewing which is a rather casual setting. My outfit worked perfectly since I styled the skirt with a sweater. This helped to dress down my look.
Anyone else like wearing a skirt and sweater combo during the Fall?
Sincerely,
K
