Today’s post will be a little different. I want to share this AMAZING customer service experience I had a couple of weeks ago. Yes, you heard me right. I actually had a pleasant experience dealing with customer service!
To back up a bit, I have been loving the white bootie trend this Fall. The second they started popping up all over my Instagram I started searching high and low for the perfect pair for a reasonable price. With no surprise, one of my favorite retailers had THE booties. I immediately ordered a pair the second I came across these Selenah White Pointed Toe Ankle Booties on Lulus’ website. They are only $45, do not have too tall of a heel, and they come in my size (5.5). As I may have mentioned before, I tend to have a hard time finding shoes that fit me. Not many companies make 5.5.
I anxiously awaited the arrival of these ultra-chic booties. When they arrived I was so excited, I immediately put them on and started walking around my apartment in them. I couldn’t believe how cute and comfortable they are! As I started planning out all of the outfits I could wear with these booties, I started to take a better look at these shoes. To my surprise they were actually not in a condition where I could keep them. They looked like they were previously worn. There was not only dirt on the bottom, but I found scuffs and some green ink on the white part of the shoe. I was so sad! I wanted nothing more than to wear these booties ASAP.
My Customer Service Experience
Luckily, I decided to send the Lulus customer service an email. Within 60 seconds of sending my email, I got a response back. After explaining my disappointment in the condition of my shoes and sending pictures of the markings, I was able to easily resolve my issue. I was provided with 3 options:
1. To return the shoes for a full refund with a prepaid shipping label
2. To have a new pair shipped to me and I ship back the old ones with a prepaid shipping label
3. I could keep my current pair of shoes and receive them at a discounted price
I ended up shipping my scuffed pair back and had a new pair shipped to me. When the new pair arrived they were in perfect condition. I couldn’t be happier. Overall I was able to have my issue resolved via email within a few minutes. And on top of this excellent customer service they also sent me a 15% off discount code for a future purchase.
I am always raving about Lulus and how cute their clothes are. After all, half of my closet is probably Lulus. But I really cannot rave enough about them after this experience. Online shopping can be difficult especially when you aren’t sure how something will fit you or the quality of the product. But you really can’t go wrong with Lulus given how easy it is to return items and resolve any order issues. Lulus really strives to help make an online shopping experience easy and stress free.
