With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, has anyone had a chance to attend any Galentine’s Day parties yet? I attended my first one last Friday at Smak Parlor, a local Philly boutique. The evening was filled with shopping, networking with other local bloggers, themed cocktails, a make-your-own bath bomb, and ended with a Q&A blogger panel. It was such a fun event! I loved meeting other local bloggers and checking out Smak Parlor for the first time since moving to Philly. If you’re a new reader, I’m a huge fan of supporting local businesses, especially cute clothing boutiques!
Since I received so many compliments on my skirt at the event, I wanted to share it with you today. A couple of weeks ago I FINALLY added some leopard print into my wardrobe. I received this Once Upon a Time Leopard Knit Skirt in Tan from Chicwish. For reference, I’m wearing a size s-m and it fits true to size. I styled my skirt with my go-to Ottowa Black Turtleneck Sweater Top and favorite Ottava Black Suede High Heel Booties from Lulus, but a white top would also look cute.
Even though the past couple of weeks have been brutally cold in Philly, I did not feel the need to wear tights. This skirt is made of a stretchy, thick knit material (almost like a sweater) and it is very warm! Another great detail about this skirt is the split hem on the side which makes walking much easier than walking in a normal pencil skirt. I highly recommend this skirt if you are looking to add some leopard print to your wardrobe and something that will help keep you warm during these cold winter months.
Sincerely,
K
